ELEMENTAL BEAUTY

This home is the personal residence of an influential luxury residential architect in our area. So of course all trades on site wanted to provide their very best work. This made the project both a joy and a special challenge for our team, as we aim to make every client feel like the most important one we’ve ever had.

The home was designed to be the ultimate family home, taking advantage of the square footage of the parcel, with plenty of room for indoor/outdoor living, a pool, fire pit, multiple conversation areas, a large lawn, and even a sport court. The family entertains with other families and friends several times a week, and the home is able to “open up” to create a seamless entertaining space with even music coverage inside and out.

We are particularly proud of the coordination on this project between our team and the millworker in achieving the nearly-invisible look of the James Small Aperture speakers in the tongue-and-groove wood ceilings. We worked closely to not only align the speakers so they landed at the center of each plank of wood, but to also make sure the round openings were perfectly milled out to achieve the flush speaker grille look. The grilles were then painted to match the finished wood. We are additionally always proud to work integrate both the products and philosophies of companies like Sonance and Savant. Their offerings and innovations are always incredible experiences for our clients.

It was an absolute privilege to work on the vision for this home for this family, and to know our efforts contribute to their joy, delight and connection. It’s why we’re so passionate about what we do.
